How does the Service work?

This service was created to provide the owners of small businesses with a low cost, transparent route for selling their business.  We've stripped out the unneccessary costs and procedures traditionally involved in selling a business to provide sellers with a toolkit that allows them to self-manage their own sale.  

However, as experts in business sales we understand that some deals become complicated, frustrating and may require experienced hands.   We therefore provide email advice lines and additional face-to-face advisory services which, if nothing else, provides the seller with peace of mind that they're not alone.   Ultimately the seller controls cost and timetable throughout.

What do I pay?

Do I have to pay a success or any commission fees?

No. We charge nothing at the sale of a business. 

Are there any hidden costs?

No.  Our charging structure is transparent and the seller controls the cost and process throughout.  

Do I need to pay anything else?

Our commitment is to provide owners of small businesses with a low cost route to sell their business.   This service was created as a direct result of feedback about traditional agents and is focused on providing a transparent, flexible and low cost route to market.    Additional services are available and chargeable - valuations, upgrades, attendance at critical meetings - however our standard services are fixed fee and provide the seller with a sufficient tool kit to sell their business.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No.  

Agents and brokers demand contracts.  Many contracts are open ended so even if an agent stops marketing the business a seller is still liable to pay for any sale in the future.   Trying to get out of these contracts can be exhausting and costly with agents charging a redemption charge - even if they fail to provide a buyer.  Amazing but true.

Selling larger businesses does require considerable preparation, research and resource on the part of an advisor however for most small businesses the sales process is relatively simple and does not require expensive and restrictive contracts.  

With no contracts our sellers can sell to anyone at anytime plus they can leave without penalty or restriction.

Is it better using a Business Broker or Transfer Agent?

We're inundated with feedback from sellers owners frustrated with agents who destroy rather than enhance value.   The truth is that many make their money from signing up clients and not from selling them.  

The best person to sell a small business is the owner and our main service is to create a marketing campaign that puts as many buyers in front of a seller and to provide expert advice whenever required.
